1. Our Role as an Agent & Binding Agreement
The purchase of your flight or any travel booking comprises a legally binding arrangement. Apparatus Solutions Inc. ("We", "Us") acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel-related products on behalf of numerous third-party service providers (e.g., airlines).
We do not own, operate, or control these independent suppliers and are not liable for their acts or omissions. Our commitment is to facilitate travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange contracts between you and the service providers. Your legal recourse for any issues with the service itself (e.g., flight cancellations, delays) is against the specific provider, not Apparatus Solutions Inc..
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please be aware that airline policies can be restrictive. Most travel bookings are non-refundable, and cancellations will incur charges up to 100% of the paid amount. The specific airline's rules will always take precedence.
The U.S. 24-Hour Rule
In accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations, we can facilitate a full refund for flights canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the booking is made at least seven (7) days before the flight's scheduled departure.
Refundable vs. Non-Refundable Tickets
- Refundable Tickets: These tickets allow for cancellation and a refund, but are often more expensive. The airline may still charge a processing fee.
- Non-Refundable Tickets: The vast majority of tickets are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will typically not receive a cash refund. Instead, many airlines will issue a travel credit for the value of your ticket (less any cancellation fees), which you can use for a future flight with that same airline.
Airline-Initiated Cancellations
If the airline cancels your flight, you are entitled to a full refund to your original payment method, even if you purchased a non-refundable ticket. We will assist you in processing this refund with the airline.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. A comprehensive policy can protect your investment by covering cancellations or interruptions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, weather), depending on the policy terms.
3. Airline Fees & Luggage
Our Fees: Where we incur any liability for a cancellation charge or fee for any booking that you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the full amount of that charge or fee.
Luggage & Baggage Policy: Additional charges for checked luggage, carry-on bags, and seat selection may apply and vary significantly by airline. Please contact the airline directly or refer to its website for the most current baggage policies. You may also call our travel experts for guidance.
